Our selection framework
We consider the problem a product solves, who it suits, practical size and storage needs, manufacturer information, US availability, total cost and credible recurring customer feedback. Commission is not a reason to recommend an unsuitable item.
Research is not a test
A research-based guide will say so. We use “tested” only when we can document actual hands-on use, the method and the limitations. Customer reviews do not become our own experience.
Children’s products
We check manufacturer age guidance and relevant recall information before product recommendations go live. We avoid unsupported claims about safety, health or development.
Prices and updates
Retailer prices and stock can change. Product content needs a source, a review date and a scheduled recheck. If we cannot verify a material detail, we label it as unknown or leave it out.
